That’s how I got the idea to make this welder. I needed something small enough to take with me on camping trips or just day runs. But with beads strong enough to hold axles. And affordable!

The Lagace Welder is very portable with full speed control. It measures at 16.25 x 13 x 6.5 inches (outer dimensions for the standard case) and weighing 19 pounds (including wire). Simply connect to two 12 volt batteries in series, or one 12 volt battery and step up converter (bath will achieve 24 volts).
